Rooted in nature. Growing together.
Nurturing wellbeing, and creative community-led change since 2006.
What We Do…
Community Wellbeing Projects
Our community and wellbeing projects bring people together through creativity, nature and shared experience. From small supportive groups to community events, we co-design projects that strengthen connection to self, each other and our surroundings.
Creative Learning Projects
We co-design bespoke, creative learning experiences shaped around each school’s needs. From woodland wellbeing sessions to heritage projects, and cross-curricular creative delivery, we bring subjects to life in ways that build confidence, curiosity and pride of place.
Community Voice & System Change
We work alongside communities to ensure their lived experience informs local decisions. Through deep listening, participatory action research, co-design, and advocacy, we help translate local knowledge into action to address health inequalities and strengthen place-based solutions.
Events & Workshops
Creative Revolution Pop Up Events
We’re proud to be part of the Chesterfield Cultural Revolution partnership, supported by Arts Council England. Together, we’re bringing a series of pop‑up community arts events to Barrow Hill and Staveley - celebrating local creativity, talent, and community voice.
Everybody Welcome!
If you’re a local artist or performer and would like to exhibit your work or share your music, please get in touch.
We’d love to showcase your creativity.
Stained Glass Project Open Day
We’re delighted to support East Peak CIC and Dronfield St John the Baptist Church in celebrating the restoration of their historic stained glass windows — a Heritage Lottery funded project.
Seven local schools have helped celebrate the project by creating their own artwork.
We held an open day exhibition on 20th & 21st March 2026.
Explore to see the beautifully restored windows and the children’s creative responses inspired by the heritage of the church.
Upcoming Workshops
We’re planning a series of bookable workshops and seasonal events for 2026 — including Women’s Woodland Wellbeing Days, Family Bushcraft, Forest Bathing, Primitive Felt Slipper Making, and other nature‑based creative experiences.

About Us
We’re two friends of 30 years who have been working together since 2006, supporting people and communities through creativity, nature, and care. After years of building community inside secure mental health units, we founded Community Growth CIC in 2016 to bring this work into our own community — heart‑led, equality‑driven, and rooted in lived experience.
